Last week was CRAZY!

Jeremy worked crazy shifts all last week and we didn't get to see him a whole lot but we tried to stay busy. Riley had his last week at Preschool.....oh how he will miss it. His last day me and McKinley got to join Ry for a sports day and a little graduation. I can't believe how big my Lil man is getting....(tear). Riley has already learned so much at Preschool and is so excited to start school in September so he can be big like Colby (he loves his Colby). Here are some pics from his last day and with some of his teachers.

Jeremy got home from work at 11 at night on Friday and then I left at 9 am on Saturday to go to the temple. Since the temple is not that close....it ended up being a long day. I got home at 7:30 at night. Poor Daddy was worn out...the kids had ran him ragged. He was so sweet to ask about my day and then not complain about his. I just have to say that I love my husband and am thankful that he can see when I need some time for myself whether he is watching the kids for a day or just running me a nice hot bath.
Jer came home today with some flowers for me and it made my week. He always knows when I need a pick me up and is always there for me. I love him. He's the perfect husband for me....I think I will keep him! Anyways here are my flowers and they are my favorite too. Aren't they pretty?

"Give a girl the right shoes and she can conquer the world."

Jeremy had to work so I did the whole flying solo for dinner and bedtime. I was making dinner and heard McKinley is her room playing....this is what I found.

She pulled her ponytail out and re-dressed herself and when she came down the stairs said "I'm PRETTY" and then kicked her boots together and stood with a big grin....I love this girly!

Skating Birthday Party!

It was our friend Summer's birthday this weekend and she had a skating party. Riley was so excited because he has never been skating before and he picked it up so fast. After going around a few times with me. I realized he was out skating on his own.
Between skating, sugar, pizza, laughs and lots of cake we had a great time!

McKinley wanted to go skating so bad that she was putting kids skates on that weren't being used.

Some of these pic are horrible quality because of all the motion. This one cracks me up....Riley is singing and dancing to the music!

Sandy Toes and Salty Kisses

We had a great weekend. Jeremy had work off on Friday so we went to the beach with some friends of ours. The kids had a blast and we had to pry them away from the sand. Our car turned into a sand pit. They had it in there hair, shoes, pockets, you name it. As far as the water....it was freezing so they were happy to play in the sand.

Friday night we were off to a BBQ (with no nap mind you). We got home at midnight to wake up and leave for a parade and carnival Saturday morning. We decided to go to a local town's parade (not sure what the British was celebrating). The parade was funny to me...I am so used to how over the top Utah does there floats and everything else...... the kids enjoyed it!

Afterwards, we went to the carnival and they had a lot of fun. Riley and Summer went on all the rides. McKinley was too little to ride any of the rides and she was very mad!

We ended our night by going over to our friends house and eating dinner. We got home around 8 (again no nap) and they were asleep as soon as their heads hit their pillows. This weekend we had a great time! I am so thankful for what we have as Americans and really see what it's like to be away from the states and miss it. We were going to go to the celebration up on base but were told by many people who went last year that it was not that fun....with our luck we found out it was the best celebration so far. It's okay we had fun and there is always next year!

"So MaNy CaNdLEs...So little CaKe"

DaDdY,

We know that you think your old but we think you're crazy. We love you for the big bear hugs, the late night wrestling, and well, for just being you! We don't care how old you are. We care only about you. Your the best daddy in the world....and Mom is pretty fond of you too! Happy Birthday Daddy. Have the best day ever because you deserve it!
So, put another candle on and let's keep making memories!

"DO NOT GO WHERE THE PATH MAY LEAD, GO INSTEAD WHERE THERE IS NO PATH AND LEAVE A TRAIL."

We went for a walk today around the village. It started out fun and then the kids weren't amused. I got alot of Kinley but Ry man wasn't really cooperating.
*******warning overload of pictures ahead*******
I had way too much fun with these two today. I can't believe how big they are and I am so sad Riley is going to start school in Sept. Anyways, ENJOY!
