Leeds Castle

We went to Leeds Castle this past week and had a blast! It took about an hour and 45 minutes to get there but was worth it. It was Beautiful and was amazing to read all the history on it. For more details and pictures look at our other blog www.tietjensintheuk.blogspot.com

Half Term

This past week has been so nice to not only have the kids home from school for half term but Jer also took the week off too! We went to the Blue Water Mall (huge mall on the outskirts of London),then to Leeds Castle then to Bath(Roman Ruins) and then to London. We had a blast! We ended the weekend with a quiet night on Saturday at home and then Jeremy got called into work today(Sunday). I threw my friend a baby shower so my sweet husband went into work at 630 am and then came home from 10-2 and then had to go back to work from 3-midnight. I am so thankful for all he does and how devoted he is to our family and to the country! Pictures to come...I forgot to load them on here so keep a look out for them to be uploaded

Thank you Gram and Gramps

Gramma Rah Rah (my mom) sent the kiddos a Valentines day package with lots of goodies. Here are some pics as promised to my mom. The kids loved everything. The candy was great and Jer liked it too for what was left of it...haha!

So, funny story about Riley. I took these pics after he got home from school and he wasn't in the mood for any type of pictures. He loved the shirt but since he was mad at me for having to change and have a quick photo shoot. He told me he didnt want to get the Gran-pa shirt on. I asked what is a Grandpa shirt and he pointed to the shirt and said it has LOTS of buttons and it's what Cowboy's wear....IT"S a GRan--PA shirt. Sorry for the lack of happiness in the pictures but I was laughin!

Valentines Day!

Valentines Day this year I would have to say has been the best one yet for our family. I love this holiday especially because you get to reflect on your relationships and get to feel the love and share it too. This past year was long and hard with many trials and I am so thankful this Valentines to all be together(minus Colby man). I was spoiled rotten by Jer with Boots and lots of smelly goodness. I am very thankful for my husband and all that we have together. He truly is my best friend and continues to show me daily how thankful he is to have me and love me and I couldn't ask for anything better.
I started off the day with deciding to make toast with the heart egg in the middle until the kids said they just wanted toast. Well it was the thought that counts...so they had heart toast!


The weekend prior we went to the London mall called Blue Water and at the kids store they had a brillant sale where it was half off so the kids got one nice toy for Valentines day!




For Riley's school I made his class cupcakes because well that's what you do for Valentines day right? Well his class was thrilled and shocked at the cupcakes. They celebrate Valentines day here but not at school. I wish I would have taken pictures but needless to say they are still talking about them. All and all we had a great day together!
