Let it Snow..in February!
We played until our toes feel off......and then came into cocoa and a warm fire. I tried to help the kids make a snowman and there is just somethings a Daddy needs to do with his kids!!!! Poor lil ones didn't like my attempt at a snowman!!
Photo ShOOT..me in the head!
Grandma Cook bought the kids adorable Christmas outfits. I promised her I would get some good pictures of the kids. I tried to be patient through it all and so did the kids. We got some good ones
but the kids were tired of me directing them...lol! They brought some toys to be in the pictures too. Some of the picture turned out funny and some just plain crazy! Enjoy!
It's JaNuaRy and cold with No SnOw!!!
It was so cold and the kids were bored during holiday break so we played on the village green A L O T !! Check out those Red Cheeks...so kissable!
Jer's Christmas Kids Party
We hardly ever attend things at Jeremy's work because we have our own plans on the weekends. I was asked to help put together our kids craft for Jeremy's squadron at the Christmas party. It was really fun and the kids were entertained for hours. I was stuck making crafts and then we all went over to see Santa fly in a helicopter...that was the big surprise and I still hear about it from my kids today!
Veteran's Day 2011
I was helping out at Riley's school and was asked to stay and help with the kids when they did their memorial. The British also celebrate the day but they call it Remembrance Day. I had chills as the whole school walked down to the village memorial site and put their poppy's down. It amazed me how much respect they have and how important it is to teach our kids the same respect. I didn’t realize what a big baby I would be and cried. Missing Jer and being thankful for our lives.
I added a picture at the end of Kinley because well.....she's cute!
Walkin thru the Fen's with the Capogna's
Me and Gretchen do our best to get together whenever we can so we stay sane and our monkeys can get all their CrAzy out!!! This was back in November (I think). Everywhere around us is different Fen's (flat farm land) with fun walking paths. There are a few different paths you can go on and we usually do the shortest. The kids wouldn’t listen and ran ahead of us. Not realizing we went on the longest path......5miles! The kids were exhausted and even slept in the next morning! Good Times!
This year it was so weird to have to do the whole Christmas Eve and Christmas morning by myself. The kids were so excited to see what they got and so was I.
Santa was very nice to the kids...and must have made an exception for their naughtyness since Daddy was away!
We had a great day and missed Daddy so much...so happy to be able to spend the next Christmas together as a family! Riley was sick on Christmas so we just spent the 3 of us playing with toys. I love my kids!
