BlackThorpe Barn

Me and my friend Tina took the kids to go see Santa and reindeer this past weekend. It was freezing but the kids enjoyed it. There were crazy parents fighting while we waited for Santa. It kinda ruined the experience but it didn't bother the kids and that's all that matters. All the kids were excited to see Santa but Riley was the only one brave enough to talk to him.

Raising Money for children in need

Mid November England does a whole raise money for kids in need. Riley didn't have to wear his uniform if he provided a donation for the charity. He was to wear spots. I completely forgot and this is what we did with a white shirt, a sharpie and about 10 mins. McKinley's was easier they had a CrAzY hair day. Here are my monkeys..man do I love them.

Halloween

We enjoyed Halloween at the Capogna's (they sure do host everything lately). We enjoyed homemade chili and cornbread with all the rest of the junk food. The trick or treating was awesome in their neighborhood.

Thanksgving

We were so happy to have my brother and his family out here to visit for Thanksgiving. They had to entertain themselves a lot and I was a horrible host. It was difficult to take them places when I had to be back to get the monkeys from school. But they were great guests and Denise had no problem jumping in the car and driving over here. I cant believe how big my nephews and neice is and what a big difference it makes to have not seen them in a year and half. We went to the lovely Caponga's for Thanksgiving. It was a great night. The only thing that would have been better was if my man was there. We love and missed you Jer. Thank you Chris and Denise for coming out and entertaining us! We love and miss you already!

Daddy's gone again but will be back.

Jeremy is on his second deployment (at this base) of six months. We are already through the first month but man has it been hard on all of us. We really planned ahead to make sure that the kids had something from Daddy before he left. He calls the kids his monkeys so he got them both stuffed monkeys and told them he filled them with lots of lots of love. That way when they miss daddy they hug the monkey and get some of Daddy's love. We also got the recordable reading books from Hallmark and listen to that every night. We left early the morning he deployed in hopes to spend some time with him. I took a few pictures before we walked out of the house. When we got there we literally had time to say I love you and bye so we didn't get anymore pictures. Jeremy means so much to our family and is missed every second throughout our day. We are able to still communicate with him so that we can keep in touch. We have been so blessed to have not had very many deployments and feel very grateful that it's only a 6 month deployment. Times get tough but we get through it because Daddy is gone but he WILL be back. I am so thankful for all the military members and all that they sacrifice. I love you my man and cant wait for the next five months to fly by.
