I took the kids bowling on Friday and it was so fun to watch the two of them interact with each other.Riley and McKinley play so well together. They have their moments when you think they hate each other and then I see them act like this when we went bowling. I love how Ry is so willing to help out his sister. She loves playing with him and wants to be just like him. Riley is such a trooper when it comes to letting McKinley follow him around. I love them!

Mother's Day

Lil Man got hurt

Riley came out of school the other day and I thought he had marker on his face. I asked him why did he color on his face crazy boy? He quickly replied "Mom, I fell and really hurt my face and cried like a baby....geez Mom!"
I felt so bad for the lil man! Here he is showing his hurt face.

Singing for My Daddy!

McKinley misses you daddy and has been singing this song all day long. She said "My daddy needs to go to sleep..I will sing him" Don't mind the cough at the beginning and the bed head hair....haha!

Bubbles

My kids are obsessed with bubbles but we always have a huge mess when we're done. I found these bubble guns and the kiddos have been going crazy with them and I'm happy too with little to clean up.Neither one of them would look at me to take a picture.

Dad is my best hero Ever!

Jeremy is now deployed. We got lucky and were able to spend a day longer due to him leaving being postponed. We got up on base a little early so we walked around. While walking Ry turned to me crying and said "Mom, tell Dad he is my best hero ever!"
We love you so much Daddy and cannot wait to hear from you soon. Hurry home to us and be safe!

McKinley got her hair cut

A couple of weeks ago McKinley had some bangs cut...thanks daddy! Jer thought that since there was hair in Kinley's face then he would help and cut it. So we had to cut her bangs and then I decided well let just give her a short little cut for the summer. She likes it and it takes far less time to do her hair now.

My Lil Rocker

Riley is cracking us up. Last night he decided to serenade Sarah all night. Here is the song that he came up with. I love my lil man!

The other day I asked Kinley to get dressed and she came down stairs with this on. It probably isn't what I would pick but she's cute....so it works! Thanks to Grandpa and Grandma for the great boots...she wears them ALL the time!

EaStEr FuN

Side Note: McKinley came home from preschool on Thursday and had made a really cute easter bunny paper hat. Riley loved it and they fought over it so naturally....it tore in half. I promised them both that we would make one for each of them and of course we had to use some cute paper.


Ry had one of his best mates from school over on Friday to play with him. We had lots of fun with making each of them a bunny hat and then watched Astro-boy. I made them a snack and Riley's friend Evan was so disgusted with a PB & J sandwich. I asked his mom later about it and she said that he had never had peanut butter on a sandwich or even peanut butter at ALL. Really? C'mon people who doesn't give their kids a peanut butter and jelly sandwich...haha! So funny how different snack foods can be over here. All in all we had a great day! Ry and Evan are such good lil buddies. They get along so well and Ry is so happy to see him every Monday after a WHOLE weekend without Evan! Thanks for coming over Evan!

I know Jeremy is going to KILL me when he see's this post but I think it's funny! Jer took this picture at work and everytime I see this I laugh SO hard. I love this face! I am so thankful for my amazing husband and his ability to make me laugh even on the worst of days. NEVER a dull moment in this household. He always keeps me laughin!

Jer bought me these flowers at the market this past weekend. I love how he is always doing such sweet things for me. He's my best friend and I love him so much and am thankful to have such a sweet and loving husband.

MyKinley

My car has been in the shop for the past week so me and the kids have been playing alot at home lately and as crazy as I say that they make me they also make me just as happy if not more. They are getting so big and I cannot believe how quick they are growin up. Riley is so funny....he calls McKinley...My-Kinley. Jeremy and I have both tried to tell him that her name is McKinley but he insists that her name is My-Kinley. I love them! Here is a cute pic of My-Kinley!

Jeremy had the chance to spend some time with our Colby Man for 2 1/2 weeks and we are so thankful that he had that time and his work was willing to let him have that time off. I miss Colby so much and it makes me cry to see the lil man getting SO big. I am so glad that he got to have Daddy all to himself and be with him. My partner in crime...is at school.

Lil McKinley started Preschool yesterday. She goes two times a week and is gone for 3 hours. I thought I would really enjoy my alone time but I was a little sad to take her and not have my lil helper with me. When I dropped her off she was so excited running around playing with all her new friends. I went over to tell her I was leaving and her response was "Okay, Bye Mommy! See you later!" I was walking out the door and she ran to my crying saying Bye Mommy I love you!.
I am so glad that she loves me enough to be sad but also is really liking to go to school. I am just in shock with how fast my babies are growing up. Here are some cute pics of her on her first day...and of course she loves her backpack. Thank you Grandma and Grandpa!

My Jer put his next rank on this week and I couldn't be happier for him. It's a big deal to our family. This has always been the goal that Jeremy made for himself since getting into to the military and he did it!
I am so proud of the person and man that he is. He is such a strong person and always looking out for other people's best interests. I just want him to know how proud I am of him. Jeremy has been through many tough times in his life and I hope he knows that I appreciate and see all that he has done in his life and how hard he has worked to get here. Congrats MSgt Tietjens...You deserve it! I love you my man!

Love 'em

Lately when I am cooking dinner I will turn around and these two will just be sitting there waiting to talk. I get a lot of good talk time from these monkeys on the kitchen floor! Here they are after church yesterday. I love them!

BaBy, it's COLD outside!

Jeremy is gone to Vegas and then off to Utah so I am finding that I am really going to have to keep us busy. Me and the kids decided that we will go for a walk and play in the snow everyday after school that way they will be tired and won't give me grief when it's bedtime (I am no dummy!)
Riley made two snowmen and McKinley said she would help but as you can see all she did was eat snow! We had lots of fun..mission accomplished they are exhausted!
