Pictures of our new home

Front of the house

small backyard

Village Green. Right across the street.

"Anyone who says sunshine brings happiness has never danced in the rain."

Last night after dinner we sat with the kids and colored some pictures. Ry man is getting pretty good at drawing and drew a family portrait, my picture had a huge head. When I asked him why? He said "Don't be sad Mom you just have a fat head!" Thank you Riley! Love you too!

After having some amazing portraits done of all of us we (more like just me) decide that we should go play in the rain. McKinley was so funny! She danced and danced but got so mad when I took her picture. We couldn't get her to come back in .

Ry on the other hand walked outside and turned back around and said "Yep, that was fun!"

Daddy was perfect. He stood at the door with towels and took them into the warm bath waiting for them.

What the.......HAIL?

It's raining, It's Pouring,...(it doesn't saying anything about hail)
It rains here quite a bit but it is on and off. When it isn't raining it is pretty sunny. On Sunday our friend who lives about 10 mins away called and said,"Is it hailing there"? She told me that hail was coming down so fast that it looked like it was snowing! We looked outside to see this coming our way

Within minutes we were getting hit. So needless to say we spent the rest of our day cozying up to the fire and bummin it around the house. I love rain storms!

It's WARM outside!

This weekend was pretty calm. Grocery shopping, yard work, BBQing and church...you know the normal. Here are some pics of the Lil monkeys playing in the backyard(garden). The weather is exceptionally warm right now about 74 degrees. We have really enjoyed being outside especially since we have NO TV.

Jer made his rank...Master!

I just wanted to let everyone know what an amazing husband I have. He is always thinking about our family. He was trying to study while trying to move. He has been amazing to help all of us with settling into our new life and we are very blessed that he made it.This has been his long term goal since he has been in the military and now he reached it. I am so proud of him and his determination. Congratulations Jer...this rank is well deserved!

We buy everything at the store!

Lately Riley's questions that he has about life are becoming more frequent
(like every 5 seconds) and more in deepth. We just recently got all of our stuff back to us and he goes through all his stuff and asks where we got it. After like 15 toys you kinda forget. My reply is always, "At the store Ry that is where we get everything."
The other night McKinley was being all crazy hyper and Jer turned to me and said "Where did she come from?" Riley was quick to answer in a frustrated tone "AT THE STORE DAD." I wish it were that easy...just go to the store and pick up your next child!
I love my lil man. He is getting so big. He has brought so much happiness to our family and makes me laugh all the time. I would be so bored all day if we didn't have mister Ry man.

Our memorial Day was well spent.

We woke up today and wondered what can we do? So, we cleaned the house and did a load of laundry and then we were bored...the first few pictures really show how bored we were.

At about noon Jer said come on we are going somewhere. We got in the car and drove and saw farm land and drove and saw farm land and after about 2 hours of driving we arrived to what looked like a little village called Cromer. Well, we were very happy to see what this "lil village" had to offer. We went to the beach! It was beautiful! There was putting greens right on the beach and a carnival for the kids to play at. If you get a minute you will have to google this city because the pictures I have don't give it justice. It makes us very grateful that we have this opportunity and love finding new places and having new adventures!

The Movers came and man did Riley show them who he is.

Last Thursday the movers came and Riley was at school when they first arrived. About half way through unloading Mr. Riley came home from school and these movers had to deal with the 50 questions and Riley was trying to do everything they did. We loved the movers because they were so fast and careful with our stuff but they also loved Riley. You could tell they were tired of explaining everything they were doing sooo...what did they do? They put Riley in the truck (with no keys of course). Riley had a blast and he was in the truck for over and hour. I am surpised the truck still worked when he was done with it. We live in a very quiet village and our house is in a culdesac. Riley just sat in the truck and honked the horn for about 15 mins. Nothing says welcome us to the neighborhood like a loud horn and Riley's monkey laugh to follow. Needless to say the movers were amused.

wE ARE aLL sETTLED IN!!

It's been over a month and a half and we are finally all settled...we got all our stuff here last Thursday and the house is all put together. Our tv and computer desk was broken but other than that all of our stuff got here. We are happy to be here and finding our place. We went to church last week and enjoyed it. Life is defintely different but it's good. I will post some pics as soon as I get a minute!

It is crazy how much history there is here and it just makes me want to learn more.I took some really cute pictures of the kids outside the castle and I will post them when I can.
I hope that everyone has a great Easter and enjoys being with family. My little family is going to hang out in our room and make a nice lil dinner.

YaH! I gEt To Go To ThE TeMpLe!

After five years of marriage Jeremy and I have been busting our butts to go through the temple to get sealed. We finished going through the temple prep classes and we are good to go.....except we have to get clearance since Jeremy is previously sealed to his ex-wife. Well, that is taking A LOT longer than we expected. So, we will be getting sealed in the London temple. At first I was bummed. Now I am excited because we get to do it in London. I am grateful Jer and my family can be with me today to get my endowments out. I am so happy that I am able to go through the temple! YAh! Today is a good day!

19 Days and Counting

We have nineteen days until we venture off to our new destination England! We have known that we were going to be stationed there since last May but I got to tell ya it is really coming quick. Jeremy just took our car to California to be shipped over to England (thanks mom and Dad for your car) and then the military packs up our house a week from Monday. WOW! I know that I complain about just wanting to get this headache of a move over with but in a sense I wish it would take longer.Between Colby man staying here, my Grandma getting older and us trying to go thorough the temple. I just need things to s..l..o..w.. down and they aren't going to, infact it is going faster! I am really going to miss all the family and friends that we are so close to here and I hope all of you know how much we love and really appreciate all of your friendships! I know that I am going to have a little bit of an "adjustment period" over there but I am SOOOO happy to go with my family and start a new adventure! So what I am saying through all this babbling is.....All of you better keep in touch with us. Just because we are moving to a different country doesn't give you all an excuse to forget about us. Hey, we will have an extra room......visitors are welcomed!

ALwAyS aN AdVeNtUrE aT oUr HoUsE!

I was reading my friend Nikki's blog the other day about how her Lil boy put something in his nose and they had to go to the Dr. to get it out. I remember thinking how lucky I was that Riley hasn't done anything crazy like that........yet. Well I jinked myself bad! Yesterday, was a long day! Riley and McKinley I think planned their entire day on how to be naughty! Well nap time came around and as a tired crazy mom-I was excited! So, I put the kids in bed and went downstairs to look on the computer. Riley came downstairs about an hour later and said he was awake...I told him to play downstairs with me until McKinley woke up. He had his hat on.

About an hour or so later Jeremy came home and told me I might want to come upstairs. Riley had opened all the curtains and blinds in the house. He went through our nightstand drawer and decided to pour out all the change....everywhere. I went in my bathroom and there was A LOT of hair in the sink. I looked at our dog and he was hiding in the corner. So, I thought Riley cut our dog's hair. I told Ry to come here and asked if he cut Toby's hair? He took off his hat and said NO! I cut my hair just like Daddy! Do you like it? I was speechless. He then tells me he put on deodorant and some cute(cologne). Well, little did I know that he meant my brand new perfume. He used half to bottle on his hair. Needless to say I am glad it is a new day! I love my Riley but man oh man he knows how to keep me on my toes.

Lesson learned...Don't go downstairs during nap time! Luckily he only cut the front part of his hair. Enjoy the pictures!
