More Catchin Up ....McKinley turned 3

My lil lady turned 3 on October 3. We had some friends come to the bowling alley and had a fun little party for her. I forgot to have her blow out candles so we did that when we got home.

Her she is in the morning when she first woke up to open some of her presents. You have to have at least one good bed head picture!

At the Bowling Alley:

Blowing out the candle and enjoyin it afterwards...

Lots of Catch up to do.....

Sorry that I haven't posted for a while. Life has been crazy and hard but we are doing going and just trying to get our life back in order. I will try to get everyone all caught up on what we have been up to since our last post...bare with me it may take a bit!
Daddy is home. Jeremy got home from Afghanistan on September 7. We are all happy to have him home. This picture cracks me up because McKinley was so excited to have him home but when she first saw him she didn't know how to act with him. Adjustment is definitely a real thing and it did take some time but now you would have never known he was gone.

Riley's school has been wonderful with helping Riley while Daddy was deployed. They asked Jeremy to come in before he deployed and talk about what he was going to do while being in Afghanistan. They really wanted all the kids to be there for Riley and for Riley to be able to talk about his daddy when he needed to. They also asked Jer to come talk to Riley's class when he returned home and show them some pictures. It's always fun to watch your kids be proud of their Dad. Here are some pictures

My Little Man Turned 5

While we were in Utah Riley turned 5 on July 24. He had a great birthday and was so excited to spend it with all of his cousins and family. He started off his day with opening his presents(don't mind the Christmas paper...hehe!) Ry got alot of nice presents and really enjoys them all. Thanks everyone!

Then it was off to pick up Colby and then straight to the park/Splash Pad. All the kids had a great time playing, getting wet and using up some of their energy! After that we headed back to my sister's house to relax before we got together later that night at my brother's house.

We got back to my sisters house and just had some relaxing time.Keith my brother in law came inside and told all the kids to come outside he had a game set up for the kids to play. This is what we came out too. Keith had drawn up this "bad guy" on the fence and the kids shot water balloons and used the sling shot to get him too. I thought I got pictures of all the kids doing it but I guess not....let's just say they all really enjoyed it.

Finally we were off the my brother Chris' house. His Bday is the day before Riley's so it's nice to get together to celebrate them both. We had alot of yummy food and lots of family to enjoy.

At bedtime I asked Ry if he had a good day and he said yes and that his favorite part was the WHOLE day except he wished his daddy could have been there.

Grandpa's Are Daddies on Loan

My dad was great to spend as much time as he could with my kids. We went over and rode the horse for a while and then dad took them to lunch. It was nice for Riley to have Grandpa. He's had such a hard time with Daddy being gone that for him to spend some time with his Grandpa meant the world to him and to me...thanks Grandpa!
One night when we were over at my parents and Riley was helping my dad with putting the horse away.My dad gave Ry a rope and was teaching him how to rope. Riley kinda got the idea...haha! Well a few days later we went to watch Grandpa at his roping down at the Fair Grounds. Riley asked me on the way down there Where his rope was? I told him we left it at home. He replied, Well, Who is going to rope with Grandpa?" He was so disappointed when he found out that he wasn't roping with Grandpa. We had a great time watching Grandpa and I hear about it all day that Riley next time WILL be the one roping with Grandpa!

Utah Visit

Here are some pics of the ride over to Utah. We had a blast and cannot believe how fast our time went there. More pics to come

Fourth of July

Better late than never. We had a good time on the fourth. Feltwell(local base) put on a nice firework show with a carnival. Here a few pics I took before we left and then my friend Aimee(awesome photographer) took the rest.
